Our congratulations reflect our appreciation for your dedication, which is a symbol of your personal and professional achievements and a testimony of your loyalty to WCC over the years.

   The Church of Norway to which you are elected as the Presiding Bishop is a huge responsibility. As guardian of Christian values, we pray that God will grant you wisdom and health to safeguard the character of the Church in its commitment to help the churches renew their spiritual life, strengthen their common witness and service and promote the unity of the Church and peace in the world.
