The Delta variant continues to spread in the ME while vaccine rollout decreases. Doctors around the region fear that this new wave will cripple national attempts to recover as the new variant spreads quickly.

When many tourists were preparing to visit the region, their governments are urging citizens not to travel to certain to particular countries including the ME.
