The World Health Organization once again, warned of the dangerous spread of the new corona strain which has infected 15 out of 22 countries stretching from Morocco to Pakistan. It urged countries to speed up the vaccination process as only 5.5 % of people in the region has been immunized. Moreover, critical shortages of oxygen tanks and intensive care beds have made it difficult for countries to respond effectively.
