United in Prayer

O God Creator of all believers, we ask You to sow peace in hearts, so that forgiveness and unity will blossom, and our differences may be a sign of richness and diversity, not a cause of conflict and disagreement. So that we realize that violence is no real solution, hatred does not make a homeland, and hostility does not build a person. So that we realize that love and solidarity are the path towards peace, in hearts and nations. Therefore, the world remains an oasis of hope, a place for building bridges and dialogue, so that we know that our freedom is related to the freedom of others. Grant us, O God, the truth of the word, so that we may say the word of truth. We thank and praise You always and forever. Amen (Prayer for peace in the Maronite Church).
