The Executive Committee of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) held its regular meeting in Beirut, during two consecutive days, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 November 2023. At the beginning of the meeting, the participants observed a minute of silence and prayed for the relief of the souls of the victims of the bloody war in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip. During the sessions, the Executive Committee discussed several issues especially the difficult circumstances that the region is witnessing.
