A Training Course for the Finance Team at the Middle East Council of Churches
With the development of the modern world, the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) follows with precautions the advanced technologies in order to benefit from it positively aiming at improving its work mechanisms and tasks and achieve the desired Ecumenical and humanitarian goals. Hence, MECC adopted a new financial system managed by the accounting team through an advanced financial program that facilitates the accounting work and financial transfers, reports, analyses, and everything that responds to the requirements of modern administration
In this context, the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) organized a training course on this program. The MECC Secretary General participated in a part of this training.
The course extended over two days, Thursday 7 and Friday 8 December 2023, at the headquarters of the MECC General Secretariat in Beirut. The course included a training on how to use this program, in addition to an introduction to its various techniques and features.
Participants were the MECC Financial Director, and the colleagues from the finance team in Beirut,Damascus and Amman, accompanied by a trainer from the company responsible for the new financial program SAP, and the IT specialist and responsible for the MECC electronic technologies.
