“Human Dignity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”

The Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) invites you to participate in its monthly webinar, entitled “Human Dignity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, on Thursday 26 September 2024, at 7 pm Beirut time.

The webinar, which includes two interventions, will start with an opening speech by its moderator Dr. Chawki Attieh, which will be followed with a speech by the Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) Prof. Dr. Michel Abs.

The first intervention is entitled “The Artifical Intelligence… Opportunites and Challenges”, with Dr. Ramy Ajeeb, the EPS Technical Director for Artificial Intelligence Applications (Egypt).

The second intervention revolves around “The Legal Responsibility Resulting from the Dangers of the Artificial Intelligence and Ways to Protect Human Values,” with Prof. Dr. Safaa Mougharbel, Professor of Business Law at the Lebanese University (Lebanon).

This webinar which ends with a conclusion and discussion, is part of the series of monthly seminars launched by MECC, within the framework of the “Human Dignity Project” - “Dialogue and Social Cohesion-Social Capital Rehabilitation”, that MECC is working to implement consecutively.
