The MECC Secretary General Professor Michel Abs Leaves Egypt Heading to Lebanon

After an official Church visit that lasted eight consecutive days, the Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) Professor Michel Abs left Cairo heading to Lebanon.

The MECC Secretary General Professor Abs and the MECC delegation were accompanied to the airport by the Associate Secretary General Reverend Dr. Refaat Fikry.

The visit of the Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) Professor Michel Abs left positive repercussions on the Church and national levels.

On the one hand, he participated in the Prayers of the Week of Unity in many Churches, and on the other hand, he held a series of meetings with the Heads of the Churches in Egypt, and participated in several social and humanitarian Church activities.

In his speeches, he stressed the unity of love, integration, dialogue and solidarity.

The MECC media covered the events and activities of the visit at its various stations and built bridges of cooperation with Christian media stations and websites in Egypt.
