MENA Region Part of ACT Alliance Regional Forums Exhibition in Indonesia

The Middle East Council of Churches Participating in It

The exchange of views and experiences, as well as customs and traditions, and the highlighting of various humanitarian activities are the main themes embodied in the Fourth General Assembly of ACT Alliance, held under the theme "Hope in Action, Together for Justice," from October 28 to November 1, 2024, in the Yogyakarta region, Indonesia.

As part of this ecumenical event, ACT Alliance is organizing an exhibition for its regional forums that include member organizations from around the world, including the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Forum, which includes the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) and many other humanitarian organizations and institutions.

During the exhibition, which opened on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, each of the forums will shed light on the work of their organizations, addressing many humanitarian and social issues as well as ways to work effectively for justice and peace.

The MENA Forum is featuring a series of images focusing on humanitarian and social activities carried out in various countries in the region. This is in addition to giving visitors souvenirs that reflect the various organizations and countries in the Middle East. The Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) presents medals specially made on the occasion its Fiftieth Year.

In this context, the exhibition is a space to build bridges between all participants—an interactive oasis aimed at exchanging experiences regarding the activities and programs held in their countries in order to help the neediest and heal the wounds of those who suffer.
