His Holiness Catholicos Aram I Presides Over Mid-Lent Sunrise Service at St. Nshan Cathedral

In keeping with tradition, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I attended the Sunrise Service at St. Nshan Cathedral in Beirut to preside over the Mid-Lent celebration and address the congregation. The gathering included students from Armenian schools under the jurisdiction of the Prelacy, as well as members of various Prelacy bodies.

Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, His Holiness delivered a speech referencing Psalm 70. He emphasized that God does not abandon us; in fact, He sent His Begotten Son for our salvation. He reminded the faithful that God is with us at every turn and every moment, and He expects us to be with Him as well. He concluded his message by stating that Lent is both an opportunity and an invitation to turn to God, to speak with Him, to be in His presence, and to experience His love. He encouraged those who may have distanced themselves from God to draw near and make His presence a reality in their lives.

After the service, a breakfast was organized in honor of His Holiness prepared by the ladies auxiliary of the Cathedral.
